Part 1

Yes, I enjoy drinking coffee, especially in the morning when I need more energy. I prefer traditional Vietnamese coffee because it has a stronger flavour and feels more enjoyable than instant coffee. I usually buy coffee from a small café near my home, although I sometimes make it myself to save money. Coffee shops are very popular in my country, and people often go there to meet friends, study, or work. However, I try not to drink too much coffee because it can affect my sleep.

Yes, I often have deadlines for assignments, work tasks, and personal projects. During a busy week, I may have two or three important deadlines, so I usually make a schedule and complete the most urgent task first. Deadlines can sometimes cause stress, but they also help me stay focused and avoid delaying my work. They are useful because they give people a clear target and make progress easier to measure. In my opinion, deadlines are most effective when they are realistic and when people start preparing early.

Part 2

I would recommend working as an English tutor because this job is directly related to my friend’s major and can help improve both language and teaching skills. By explaining grammar, correcting pronunciation, and preparing lessons, my friend could review important knowledge and gain useful experience for a future career. Working as a waitress would improve communication and customer-service skills, but the job can be tiring and may not use much English. A shop assistant position could also develop confidence and sales skills, but the work may be repetitive and less relevant to English studies. Therefore, becoming an English tutor is the best option because it offers practical experience, flexible working hours, and a stronger connection to my friend’s academic background.

Part 3

In my opinion, technology has made communication faster, easier, and more convenient. First, people can send messages, make video calls, and share information instantly, even when they live in different countries. This is especially helpful for families, international students, and businesses that need to stay connected over long distances. Second, communication technology supports work and study. For example, students can join online classes, discuss group projects, and exchange documents, while employees can attend virtual meetings and work with colleagues from different locations. However, technology also has disadvantages. People may spend too much time looking at screens, misunderstand short text messages, or share personal information with strangers. Online communication can also make some relationships feel less personal because users cannot always see body language or understand emotions clearly. For this reason, I do not think technology should completely replace face-to-face communication. Direct conversations remain important for serious discussions, close relationships, and situations that require trust. Overall, technology has improved communication in many ways, but people should use it responsibly and maintain a healthy balance between online and in-person interaction.
