Part 1

Sample Answer:

I usually go out about two or three times a week because I’m quite busy with my studies, but I like to relax and meet friends on weekends. Most of the time I go out with my close friends since we share the same interests, like trying new food or watching movies, and being with them always makes me feel comfortable. The places I often go to are cafés and shopping malls, but I especially enjoy cafés because they have a quiet atmosphere where we can talk and enjoy good drinks.

A special place I would always want to return to is the beach in my hometown. It’s not very crowded, the sea is clean, and the sunset there is really beautiful. I usually went there with my family when I was younger, and sometimes with friends, so it’s full of good memories. What makes me want to return to that beach is the peaceful feeling it gives me and the way it reminds me of my childhood. Whenever I feel stressed, I think about that place, and it always makes me feel calm and connected to my roots.

Sample Answer:

I believe the school should prioritize investing in teachers. Improving the quality of education starts with well-trained and motivated educators. Investing in teacher training, professional development workshops, and providing them with access to updated resources will directly impact the quality of teaching and, consequently, student learning outcomes. While improved facilities and student support programs are also important, a strong teaching staff is the foundation upon which all other improvements are built. Effective teachers can adapt to less-than-ideal facilities and can find creative ways to support individual student needs. Therefore, investing in teachers provides the greatest return on investment in terms of long-term educational improvement.

Well, I think traditional festivals are really important because they help preserve cultural values and, more importantly, they bring people together. They also remind us of our history and pass down traditions to younger generations. And honestly, festivals just give people joy and a sense of connection, which I think is very meaningful. In Vietnam, I’d definitely recommend foreigners to experience Tet Festival, our Lunar New Year. It’s the biggest celebration of the year. Families reunite, we prepare special food like sticky rice cake, decorate the house with flowers, and exchange lucky money. It’s not only fun but also shows the warmth of Vietnamese culture. Of course, compared to the past, things have changed a bit. People are so busy nowadays, so some may see it more as a holiday rather than following all the traditional rituals. To keep festivals alive, I think the government should promote them more through tourism, provide funding, and schools could also teach students about their meaning. That way, young people will still appreciate and continue these traditions.
