The best time to come to my hometown is during the dry season because the weather is more comfortable and it is easier to travel around. What I like best about my hometown is the friendly people and the peaceful atmosphere. Life there is not as stressful as in big cities. I think it is a good place to grow up because children can live in a safe environment and learn many traditional values. However, young people may need to move to larger cities for better education or job opportunities.

I have many acquaintances, but only a few close friends. I met my best friend at school, and we became close because we studied together and shared many similar interests. We have supported each other through both good and difficult times. In my opinion, the best quality of a good friend is honesty. A good friend should tell the truth, give helpful advice, and be there when we need support. Friendship does not have to be perfect, but it should be based on trust and respect.

I think a dishwasher would be the best gift for my mum. It is practical and can help her save a lot of time after meals. Instead of spending time washing dishes every day, she can rest, watch TV, or do something she enjoys. A mobile phone may be useful, but if her current phone still works well, it is not necessary. A hair dryer is cheaper, but it may not be as meaningful or helpful in daily life. Since my mum often does housework, I believe a dishwasher would show that we care about her comfort and want to make her life easier.
