Part 1

Yes, I enjoy singing, although I am not a professional singer. I usually sing at home when I am doing housework or taking a shower because it helps me relax. At weekends, I sometimes go to karaoke with my close friends, and we often sing popular Vietnamese and English songs. In my opinion, singing is a useful skill because it allows people to express their feelings and become more confident. It is also a simple way to reduce stress after a busy day.

Yes, I take photos quite often, mainly with my smartphone. I like taking pictures of beautiful scenery, delicious food, and special moments with my family and friends. When I travel, photos help me remember the places I have visited and the experiences I have had. Nowadays, people take many photos because phone cameras are convenient and social media makes sharing pictures very easy. However, I think people should enjoy the real moment instead of spending too much time trying to get a perfect photo.

Part 2

I would choose the public speaking course because it would be the most useful for my studies and future career. I sometimes feel nervous when I give a presentation, so the course could teach me how to organize my ideas, use suitable body language, and speak more confidently. A painting course would be relaxing and creative, but I am not very interested in art and might not practice it regularly. A cooking course is practical, but I can learn simple recipes from my family or online videos. Public speaking, on the other hand, is more difficult to learn alone because I need feedback and real practice in front of other people. Therefore, I believe the public speaking course is the best choice for me.

Part 3

In my opinion, face-to-face communication remains very important in modern life, even though online communication is becoming more common. First, talking to someone in person helps build stronger relationships because we can see facial expressions, hear the tone of voice, and understand emotions more clearly. For example, having dinner and talking directly with family members can make everyone feel closer. Second, face-to-face conversations help avoid misunderstandings. A short text message may sound unfriendly or unclear, while a direct conversation allows people to explain their ideas immediately and ask questions. Finally, communicating in person improves useful skills such as listening carefully, maintaining eye contact, and responding naturally. These skills are especially necessary in job interviews, presentations, and group discussions. Online communication is certainly convenient when people live far away or need to exchange information quickly. However, it cannot completely replace personal contact. Therefore, people should use technology wisely while still making time for direct conversations with family, friends, classmates, and colleagues. Online communication is more convenient in some situations, especially when people live far away or need to send information quickly. However, I do not think it is always better because messages cannot fully show emotions, facial expressions, or body language. For important or personal discussions, I prefer meeting and talking directly. In my opinion, many young people do not communicate face to face enough because they spend a lot of time on smartphones, social media, and online games. As a result, some may feel nervous when speaking directly to strangers or joining group discussions. Schools and families should encourage more clubs, sports, and shared activities. Face-to-face communication is especially important in job interviews, business meetings, family discussions, and situations involving disagreement. In these cases, people need to understand one another clearly and respond immediately. For example, solving a personal problem in person is usually more respectful and effective than sending angry messages.
