Question 1: What kind of house or flat do you want to live in in the future?
Sample Answer: Oh, that's a fun question! Ideally, I'd love a small, modern apartment in a vibrant city centre. Something with big windows, lots of natural light, and maybe even a little balcony. I'm not really a fan of big houses; they seem like too much to maintain. I'd prioritize a really well-designed space – maybe minimalist, with clean lines and smart storage solutions, because I'm not naturally organised, so that would really help! Location is key though, I'd want to be close to good transport links, shops, and maybe even a park nearby. A rooftop terrace would be amazing, but that's probably wishful thinking! Something eco-friendly would also be a plus – maybe solar panels or a green roof, that kind of thing.
Question 2: Do you prefer living in a house or a flat?
Sample Answer: Oh, that's a tough one! I think I'd prefer living in a house, eventually. Right now, a flat is more practical because I'm still studying and don't have a lot of money. Finding a reasonably priced flat near the university is much easier than finding a house. But, long-term, I definitely envision myself living in a house with a garden. I love being outdoors and I think having my own space, like a garden, where I could relax or even grow some herbs would be amazing. Plus, houses often have more space, which would be great for having friends over and just generally feeling less cramped. Flats can be a bit… claustrophobic sometimes. So yeah, a house would be my ideal, but a flat suits me fine for now.
Question 3: What part of your home do you like the most?
Sample Answer: Oh, that's easy, it's definitely my balcony. I know it's small, just a little strip really, but it's my favourite spot. I've got a couple of comfy chairs out there and a little table, and I love sitting out there in the evenings, especially during summer. I usually have a cup of tea or a glass of wine, and I just relax and watch the sunset. It's so peaceful and quiet, a real escape from the hustle and bustle of the day. Sometimes I even read a book out there, although I have to be careful with the sun. It's just such a lovely place to unwind and clear my head. It makes me feel really calm and happy, and that's why I love it so much.
Question 4: Do you plan to live there for a long time?
Sample Answer: At the moment, yes. I feel comfortable here, and it’s close to everything I need. However, if I get a job opportunity in another city or country, I might consider moving. For now, though, I’m happy where I am.
Question 5: What's the difference between where you are living now and where you have lived in the past?
Sample Answer: The place I live now is more spacious and modern than my previous home. It has better facilities and is located in a quieter neighborhood. In the past, I lived in a smaller, older house near a busy road, so it was often noisy. I feel more relaxed and safe in my current home.
Question 6: What room does your family spend most of the time in?
Sample Answer: We usually spend the most time in the living room. It’s where we relax, watch TV, or talk after meals. It’s a shared space that brings everyone together, especially in the evenings or on weekends.
Question 7: What makes you feel pleasant in your home?
Sample Answer: The thing I love most is the peaceful atmosphere. After a long day, just being at home helps me relax. I also enjoy spending time with my family in the living room. Sometimes, we cook together or watch movies, and that makes me feel happy.
Question 8: Do you think it is important to live in a comfortable environment?
Sample Answer: Oh, absolutely! I think a comfortable environment is really crucial for well-being, you know? It's not just about having a fancy house, but more about feeling safe, relaxed and able to focus on things that matter. If you're constantly stressed about your surroundings – whether it's noise, overcrowding, or just feeling unsafe – it's hard to concentrate on work, studies, or even just relaxing and enjoying your free time. For me personally, a comfortable environment means having enough space, good natural light, and maybe a little bit of greenery around. It's about having a place where I can truly unwind and recharge, so yeah, I definitely think it's really important.
Question 9: What did you like most about the house or apartment where you grew up?
Sample Answer: Oh, that's a nice question. I think what I liked most about the house I grew up in was the garden. It wasn't huge, just a small patch at the back, but my dad had made it into this amazing little world. He'd built a little wooden playhouse for me and my sister, and he grew all sorts of vegetables and flowers. I have really fond memories of helping him weed and water, and then later, of just sitting there reading a book in the sun amongst the roses. It was a really peaceful place, a real escape from everything else, and I think it's where I developed my love of gardening, actually.
